Acid house hero Bubba starting bashing out techno tunes in his bedroom in Belfast when he was 4 after he was allowed to stay up late and watch a documentary on the History of House Music,Bubba developed and refined his sound into a chunky club jumping jam!

His first release was Scoper & Bubba ' I'm Satisfied' on Derrick Carter and Luke Solomons Classic label, a great place to start and has just been rereleased across the world incase anyone missed it the first time!

With further releases on Paul Woolfords Hip Therapy and Glasgow Underground home to Romantony and Milton Jackson and with his debut album 'While the City Sleeps' on Aciitone in 2010 he continued to pick up support from the likes of Ivan Smagghe, Soul Clap, Hannah Holland, Ewan Pearson,Catz N Dogz, Droog.

With buddy T-Bone(Timmy'Jet Project'Stewart) standout releases and remixes on Elevation and Get the Curse and their stonking (and respectful) reedit of Frankie Knuckles' Baby wants to Ride' getting picked up for the TRAX/DJHistory compilation alongside KINK, Greg Wilson, Mark Broom. Getting attention from Seth Troxler, Ellen Allien and Robert James.

And with releases on the Jet Project & Chris Duckenfields label Extended Play picking up support from the likes of RadioSlave, Round Table Knights, Slam, Rob Mello.

With forthcoming releases and remixes on Alive, Batty Bass,Klasse,Pets and Extended Play his purple patch seems to be flowing.

Spring is in the air ( I hope!!) and summer is on the way!
Clockwork on Hot Creations is another ace with killer remix from Art Dept. Rob James and Mr Foss. The new Todd Terje track  on Running Back blew me away! James Teej's new track on MFR has an ace Burnt Island Casuals remix. Rush Hour have so many great releases at the moment it just keeps coming but the Antony Shakir Floor Filler struck me.
Another label that seems to be banging out the belters is Saved, the DJ Kool Dek track is one of many killers for them.
Fabio Giannelli's Nuclear has a cool old school tech twist for me.
A big fan of Tale of Us (Disco Gnome remix is right up there!!)their new remix with Seth Troxler is awesome!
And the new Son of Sound remix has all my favs a cow bell and a phat bass - you can't go wrong!

HOH (aka Hype on Hype) is based in the UK, and is most notably known for running a night called Gritter in Leicester which has brought well-known artists to the UK for some of the fiercest underground house parties. This is where HOH's musicality comes from and can be heard in this DubNoir EP. On his debut solo release HOH supplies three serious upfront chunky groovers. 

The EP kicks off with Suswour, which bumps into a catchy vocal and is the main dancefloor banger in the package. Pianois is one for the serious house heads with a pulsating piano riff ala Dj Koze stylee, that builds and builds. The final track is Jusanuva Beat, with its hypnotic groove and infectious vocal and sub combination, definately one to get the floor moving. 

Up on the Remix we have Bubba (from recent Extended Play Fame) who provides a corker that would not be out of place in a Jamie Jones / Lee Foss set. If your in Miami and playing this year, then take my work for it, this could be the ultimate jam :)
